WINDY DAYS
On windy days, you can help keep trash off the streets and out of your neighbor's yard. If the wind is blowing strong on your regular pickup day, do not set your barrels out! The following week on your scheduled pickup day, Burrtec will empty your container and pickup any additional refuse you have collected that does not fit in the container because of the skipped service due to wind. The City of Fontana invites individuals and groups to participate in Quarterly Graffiti Clean Up Day. All materials and tools are provided. Please contact Public Services at 350-6760 for more information. To report graffiti e-mail or call 909-350-GONE(4663)

CURBSIDE COLLECTION OF BULKY ITEMS
Fontana residents are now able to call Burrtec twice per year to schedule curbside pickup of bulky items. Residents will no longer have to transport bulky items to the City Yard on Saturday mornings in their personal vehicles. Fontana residents can simply call Burrtec at (909) 822-9739, to schedule a pickup. All bulky items will then be picked up at the curb on their regular trash day.

CURBSIDE WASTE OIL PICK-UP
Pick-up days are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
This program is for those who cannot transport their waste oil to the City's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center. Remember, we can take oil filters too. For an appointment please call (909) 350-6789.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE
Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon  (Closed holiday weekends)
The City will accept all forms of Household hazardous waste including: motor oil and filters, antifreeze, weed killers, pesticides, paints, household cleaners, solvents, fertilizers, batteries and other items which may pose a hazard to the environment. Please do not bring in any explosives, infectious or nuclear waste to this facility. Business waste is not accepted.
